dc.description.abstractLow bone mineral density increases cardiovascular disease incidence by 25-38% while the presence of fractures increased CVD-related mortality by 78%. Meanwhile, increased fracture incidence have been found in cardiac patients. However, osteoporosis remains under-diagnosed and under-treated among those with cardiovascular disease.-
