Abstract: Hospital acquired pressure injuries present a serious clinical and economic risk which may result in a significant cost to health services. Pressure Injuries impact quality of life, mobility, comfort and can cause an increase in susceptibility to infections. The number of reported pressure injuries at Monash Health has increased over time, prompting an organisational wide audit and implementation strategy to support the current situation.
