Abstract: Carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales (CPE) are becoming an increasing global concern. Initially, these infections were primarily reported in Australia among patients with a history of overseas healthcare exposure or travel. However, since 2014, multiple local healthcare outbreaks have been documented. This poster details an outbreak of OXA-181 carbapenemase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae at various sites within a major health service in Melbourne, Victoria.
