Evaluation of the content validity for entrustable professional activity tools used in clinical pharmacy practice

Abstract

Entrustable professional activities (EPA) are units of professional practice that can be entrusted on an individual to perform independently once they have demonstrated competence. EPA tools evaluate performance through observation and feedback against a defined criteria. This criteria is presented as a list of items, each outlining the specific knowledge and skills required for competent performance. While EPAs have gained prominence in health professional education and training, the validation of workplace-based EPA tools specifically designed for pharmacists remains limited.
