Abstract: Diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is often delayed, partially due to the diversity of presenting symptoms, resulting in frustration for patients. GPs play a vital role in the early diagnosis of PCOS and timely referral of patients, and in the prevention and management of long-term complications.Copyright © MedicineToday 2017.
